B=Branded The original inventor, innovator of a drug formulation, protected by products patents, usually, a outside India, registered pharma company like Abbott labs,Alcon, Novartis AG, Sanofi, Pfizer, Bayer-Corporation, GSK-UK, J&J, Astra-Zeneca, Roche, Boehringer Ingelheim,e-Merck but may operate in India via wholly owned subsidiaries to market their patented formulations.
G/N:Amlodipine Besilate for treatment of hypertension, high blood pressure was innovated, formulated by Pfizer Inc USA patented in 1982 sold as B/N:Amlogard® in India by Pfizer as on 03/2023.
